Millie Bobby Brown has revealed that she has enrolled in a course at university, because evidently now Stranger Things season 4 is out she’s got a load more time on her hands.

The actress is following in her character Eleven’s footsteps and studying in the state of Indiana, where her Netflix series is set, but this time at the prestigious Purdue University.

Fun fact: the hit Netflix series even had a shout-out to Purdue University on the show, with a student wearing a Purdue shirt in series three.

Now Millie, 18, has signed up as an online student to a Human Services course that is ‘designed to provide students with basic knowledge in human development and family studies’.

The Enola Holmes star revealed the news to Allure, sharing her plans to study at university in order to ‘learn about the system and how to help young people.’

The young activist will also continue to work as a Goodwill Ambassador for Unicef, which helps children across the world in danger.

Millie said she is conscious of her strong influence over young people and is happy to accept that responsibility in an effort to share important messages with her audience.

She added to the magazine: ‘Of course, people can look at it as pressure or scary, but I think that’s the most exciting part of my job.

‘People are all looking at me, ‘What are you going to say, Millie?’ I’m going to say, “Young girls deserve an education. Young people everywhere deserve equal rights.

‘”[You] deserve to love the people that you want to love. Be the people that you want to be and achieve the dreams that you want to achieve.” That’s my message.’

Millie is also the founder and owner of the vegan skin-care brand Florence by Mills, which she has grown and developed alongside her successful acting and producing career.

Still, despite her undeniable talent and success, Millie added that she isn’t perfect and has made ‘wrong decisions’ in the past.

‘Ultimately, all I wanted to do within my career is help young girls and young people out there know that I, too, go through things,’ she added.

‘I’m not this perfect person that is selling skin-care products and [who
is] in Stranger Things. I absolutely have made wrong decisions.’
