5 times Chris Eubank delivered ‘fantabulous’ TV gold all in just one episode of Celebrity MasterChef-Charlotte Manning-Entertainment – Metro

Chris Eubank may not have won judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode over with his food on Celebrity MasterChef, but he certainly entertained all of us watching at home.

Former professional boxer Chris, 56, is amongst the five stars in the second week of heats, alongside EastEnders and Call The Midwife’s Cliff Parisi, All Saints’ Mel Blatt, choir master Gareth Malone and reality star Mojo. 

While MoJo was booted out of the competition, Chris, Gareth, Cliff and Mel sailed through to the next stage. 

During his first appearance, Chris also left fans in giggles with his incredible remarks throughout.

From being very eager to get his spoon into Mel Blatt’s cheesecake, to giving the rest of the room a very cheery good morning, he provided an impressive amount of laughs in one hour of TV. 

Here are five moments you need to see from Chris that sum up exactly why we love the chaos of Celebrity MasterChef.

His dinner party dish of… corned beef?

For their last task on Tuesday night, the contestants had to cook a dish fit for a dinner party. 

Of course, it wasn’t going to be a conventional dinner party meal from Chris, who served up his white rice and tinned corned beef creation.

While his cooking attempts were pretty questionable, Gregg and John couldn’t criticise his efforts, and he seemed very pleased with himself, declaring to have knocked it ‘out of the park’. 

Being the ultimate cheerleader for Mel Blatt

Mel had created quite the tempting cheesecake for the chocolate and peanut butter creation which the judges definitely enjoyed tucking into. 

Chris luckily also had her back, giving her a huge thumbs up to the camera in support.

He quickly got his hands on the leftovers too, and we don’t blame him. 

Feeling ‘buoyant’ after serving a massive chunk of butternut squash

Have you ever seen a contestant write themselves a cryptic message after cooking up a storm in the kitchen? Love, health and nutrition is all we’ve ever wanted from a meal, Chris. 

Even if it turns out to be not much more than a big piece of butternut squash with a bit of rosemary on it.

The judges’ very positive comments not only left him ‘moved’, but also… ‘buoyant’. 

Delivering a simply ‘fantabulous’ dish

The five contestants had to try and recreate John’s version of the classic Canadian dish, poutine, which is french fries and cheese curds topped with a brown gravy.

He may not have completely hit the mark, with his gravy full of redcurrant jelly, but he certainly had confidence in the meal, dubbing it ‘fantabulous’.
