First Dates’ Fred Sirieix has a lot of dating advice for the people on the show, but what about his own love life?
Fred is certainly a popular fixture on the dating show, having warmly welcomed nervous singletons into the First Dates restaurant and hotel for years.
Always on hand to offer sage advice and an encouraging word, viewers are often left wondering if ocean-eyed Fred has a boo of his own.
But does the long-standing maître d’ have a partner and family of his own?
Does Fred Sirieix have a wife?
Maître d’ Fred, 49, has never been married, however, he did have a long-term partner, Alex Spendolini, for 12 years.
Now, however, Fred is with a woman whom he only affectionately refers to as ‘fruitcake’, and the pair are regularly pictured together on his Instagram.
The couple has been together for at least four years, having been ‘Insta-official’ since January 2018.
He regularly posts snaps of the two enjoying cute dates and luxurious-looking holidays together.
Fred and ‘fruitcake’ announced their engagement back in March 2020, with Fred tweeting: “#fruitcake said yes’ followed by love hearts and engagement ring emojis.
The couple were due to get married in 2021, but have been forced to delay the marriage due to the pandemic.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain last July, Fred said: ‘Well we are waiting to see when we can travel as it’s important to have friends and family there.’
He added: ‘We have to stay fluid here, it’s out of control, but we are planning for early 2022 now.’
So far, Fred has not revealed whether the pair have said ‘I do’.
Does Fred Sirieix have any children?
Fred and his ex-partner Alex share two children – Team GB diver Andrea, 17, and Lucien, 13.

Andrea, 17, is a champion diver and recently represented England in the Commonwealth Games, earning a gold medal.
She continued her winning streak at the women’s 10m platform event at the European Championships in Rome with yet another gold medal and her first individual title.
Fred took to social media to express his pride in his daughter, writing on his Instagram page: ‘Andrea just won 🥇 at the European Championships in Rome #diving #10m #platform #goAndrea.
‘Nail bitting [sic] stuff once again! What a great last dive! My little 🦆 has nerves of steel ❤️ Well done my love 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 we are so proud of you. You are an inspiration and a ray of sunshine x’.
Fred was also pictured cheering Andrea on as she competed at the Commonwealth Games, shedding a tear as she earned a gold medal.
The sports superstar – who became an Olympic diver at just 16 – has trained since she was just 8 years old.
Fred does not share much about his personal life, but earlier this month he shared a video of himself and his son, Lucien, boxing.
In a clip posted to Instagram, Fred can be seen sparring with his 13-year-old son, jokingly saying teen is working hard to ‘take his head off’ in the caption.
Speaking to Closer about his children, he said: ‘Happiness is my kids telling me they love me each day.’
