Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson were planning a redo of their Love Is Blind wedding before their rumored split.
The couple met on season two of the iconic Netflix show, which was filmed in 2021 and aired earlier this year.
However, it was claimed that the bride filed for divorce after just one year of marriage.
Their rumored split may come as a shock to some, as Danielle let slip of their plans to renew their vows just last month.
In a chat with Us Weekly, she was asked whether they would consider a possible redo of their big day, without the Love Is Blind cameras in tow.
‘Yes,’ she enthused. ‘Completely, yeah, at either our two – or three – year anniversary. We really want to redo our reception to make sure all of our families can be there.

‘I’ve always dreamed of my dream wedding, wedding planning and a bachelorette party. So we’re re-doing all of that – just when we have the time!’
She also shed light on attending couple’s therapy with Nick, explaining that a professional has really helped their relationship move forward.
‘It’s incredibly helpful, both individually and with couples, because a lot of things are so misinterpreted or taken personally, or people can get defensive without listening to what someone’s actually saying,’ she continued.
‘So taking the time, with a third party, to be like, “Danielle, you’re interpreting what Nick is saying wrong, this is actually what he means” and vise versa. It really eliminates fights or arguments that never have to happen in the first place.’

According to TMZ, Danielle filed to end her marriage to her castmate last Monday, in Cook County Circuit Court, Illinois.
The pair have yet to address speculation surrounding their romance and are still following each other on social media.
They famously said their ‘I dos’ in the season finale of the Netflix experiment and were only one of two couples to make it to the altar.
The reports come after Jarrette Jones and Iyanna McNeely, who also tied the knot on season two, confirmed their split in a joint statement last week.
‘After much thought, we’re saddened to share that we have separated and will begin the process of divorcing,’ it read. ‘While we have love for each other, our lives are going in different directions and that’s okay.
‘Coming to this decision was far from easy and we will always wish each other the absolute best.
‘We hope you all will give us some space as we close this chapter of our lives.’
