Molly-Mae Hague has revealed her very different look from 10 years ago, with a throwback picture showing she favoured a hairstyle that makes her virtually unrecognisable.
In all fairness, she was a teenager at the time – however her style icon as a 13-year-old saw her make a choice worlds away from her long blonde hair of today.
Sharing an old picture of herself to her Instagram Stories while on a trip ‘down memory lane’ on Sunday, the former Love Island winner showed off a studio portrait of herself with cropped dark brown-red hair and a long, layered side fringe.
She captioned the photo: ‘Walks into the hairdressers at age 13. “I wanna look like Frankie from the Saturdays.”’
‘How crazy that this was my hair !!!!!!,’ she added.
From the image though, her hairdresser definitely understood the brief, with Molly-Mae transformed into a mini version of her favourite pop star back in 2012.

Frankie – who herself delighted fans recently with a picture of her and S Club Juniors bandmate Calvin Goldpsink – was also struck by the model’s old (new?) look, re-sharing the photo to her Instagram Stories and writing: ‘How different does @mollymae look?! Suits you! Xx’
The Pretty Little Thing creative director enjoyed Coldplay’s Wembley Stadium gig on Saturday night with her boyfriend Tommy Fury, also 23, as the pair enjoyed a kiss while taking in the spectacle.
They were also treated to Steve Coogan’s slightly unexpected appearance as Alan Partridge on stage, acting as the band’s surprise special guest, who helped deliver a duet of song of the moment, Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill.

‘Lights will guide you home 👼🏼,’ Molly-Mae captioned her upload to social media, which also included a snap of her beaming from her seat, dressed in a brown tank top and large vintage-style black leather jacket.
Love Island 2022’s runner-up Gemma Owen has now followed in Molly-Mae’s PLT footsteps, landing a six-figure deal with the online retailer after her success in the reality TV show alongside Luca Bish.

The 19-year-old international dressage rider described it as ‘a dream come true’ and ‘really special’ to be named a brand ambassador.
However, the news on Monday was also met with backlash from some quarters as fans blasted the label for allegedly using fellow contestant Indiyah Polack ‘for engagement’ by using her in a poll before signing Gemma.
