Strictly’s Neil Jones and Love Island’s Chyna Mills ‘not quite gelling’ as they step out for romantic stroll in Paris together-Charlotte Manning-Entertainment – Metro

Strictly Come Dancing’s Neil Jones and Love Island’s Chyna Mills are currently on a dreamy break in Paris after they appeared to confirm their romance.

The duo were spotted on a night out shortly after Chyna returned from the Love Island villa in Majorca.

Now, they’ve taken things to the next level by jetting off to the French city of love together and were snapped strolling the streets in Paris hand-in-hand before grabbing a spot of lunch at romantic bistro, Au Cadet De Gascogne.

Chyna, 23, and the dancer, 40, donned similar outfits, with Chyna sporting a white hoodie and Neil wearing a white T-shirt and jeans.

However, despite their seemingly loved-up appearance across the Channel, things look to still in very early days.

Body language expert Judi James has some reservations about the stars so far, suggesting they’re ‘not quite gelling’ as a pair.

She told Metro.co.uk: ‘Neil and Chyna look like the unlikeliest of reality show cross-pollinations and it’s not just because of the age gap. Chyna’s more sophisticated and cool casuals match her confident, relaxed body language.

‘She’s all smiles at the cameras and apparently happy to continue the relationship with them that was interrupted when she left the Love Island villa a little early.

‘Her eye connect seems to be communicating mainly with the cameras, suggesting she’s comfortable and even happy with the publicity from this new “romance”.

However, Judi went on to explain how Neil’s body language provides a ‘huge contrast’ to his date, who is 17 years his junior.

She continued: ‘From his pre-loved, pre-paint-smeared ripped and baggy jeans that might not be ideal for a romantic trip to Paris to the way he is seen holding his phone aloft and with his other hand balled into a tense-looking fist.

‘He walks ahead, head down in a cut-off ritual and the way he’s squinting at their menu only emphasises the age difference. He even leads her with one hand on top and to the front of the clasp rather than meshing fingers or using eye contact to signal more intimate bonding.

‘There’s a little raising and rounding of Neil’s cheeks in one shot to suggest he’s either enjoying Chyna’s company or the press attention and they’re clearly loving their waffles but – strangely for Neil – the choreography is not quite gelling in these poses, suggesting they’re perhaps still getting to know each other.’

It comes after Chyna herself remained coy about the rumoured new romance, as she teased the trip on her Instagram story.

When a fan asked: ‘Who did you go to Paris with?’, she cheekily replied: ‘With a friend.’

The pair were first linked earlier this month after they were spotted leaving the Reality TV Awards afterparty in Chelsea together.

In pictures published by The Sun, Chyna is seen climbing into a taxi with Neil following her in, with the pair joined by Neil’s Strictly co-star Giovanni Pernice who was also seen in the black cab.

Metro.co.uk has previously reached out to reps for Neil and Chyna for comment.

Strictly Come Dancing returns later this year to BBC One and Love Island can be streamed on the ITV Hub now.
