Selling The OC has finally arrived on Netflix and there’s a brand new cast of luxury realtors to get to know.
Polly Brindle is among Jason Oppenheim’s team of fresh-faced agents tasked with selling glitzy Newport Beach mansions to the filthy rich.
Over the course of the series, Polly’s accent causes misunderstandings with her Oppenheim Group colleagues, who find themselves asking her to repeat what she’s said.
On several occasions, they claim they can’t understand what she’s saying… even though, as she points out, she’s speaking English.

Where is Polly Brindle from and what is her accent?
Polly was born and raised in West Yorkshire, in the north of England, before moving to Los Angeles in 2011. So yes, that’s a northern accent you’re detecting.
Before immersing herself in the world of real estate, Polly worked as a model and was scouted at the tender age of 15.
She worked in the fashion industry for over 20 years, working for a range of luxurious brands, including Lancôme, Dior, and Aston Martin.
During her modelling days, Polly lived and worked in London, Paris, Milan, and Barcelona, and it was these cities that ignited her passion for architecture and design.
Polly has resided on the west coast for over a decade now and lives with her rescue dog Moose in
In March this year, Polly gained her US citizenship and celebrated the news on Instagram.
‘SO excited to finally be able to call the country I have lived in for over a decade, home,’ she penned. ‘The security of knowing that the place I have my house, my dog, my friends and my career is officially official means more to me than most of you will know.
