Things are set to get really awkward in Netflix’s newest dating series, which sees pairs of siblings watch each other flirt and pack on the PDA as they work together to find true love.

Shove a bunch of sexy singletons together and we kind of know what already happens, but add their siblings into the mix? That’s a whole new level of reality dating TV.

The new trailer questions: ‘When it comes to the battle for love, should you keep it in the family?’ while pairs of siblings are shown looking pretty happy.

But things quickly turn to chaos, when the voiceover adds: ‘Who better to have in your corner than your brother or sister who will be joining you in the search for love?’

‘I don’t think any of these guys are good enough for my sister,’ one contestant admits, while another shares: ‘Most of the time, she goes for the bad boy trap.’

Another defensive brother warns: ‘I’m going to do what I have to do to protect my sister, don’t be disrespectful.’

Elsewhere, double dates featuring brothers, and one couple making out in front of a sibling is enough to make anyone cringe.

The voiceover continues: ‘When love is on the line, will these siblings find the one? Or will they go home empty handed?’

Just like any good reality TV series, emotions are high and the tears are quick to flow.

‘There has to be someone out there that wants to be with me as much as I want to be with them,’ one contestant tearfully admits while in another clip twin sisters are seen both breaking down into tears.

‘Could your sibling be the answer to finding ever lasting love,’ the trailer teasingly ends.

Fronting the show is Too Hot To Handle star Melinda Berry, as she’s joined by six pairs of siblings, and maybe even some ‘bombshells’ thrown in.

The synopsis reads: ‘Imagine having to think about your sibling dating… how they flirt, how they treat their partners, and what their signature moves are.

‘In this brand-new reality dating series, pairs of siblings will be seeing each other’s love life up close and personal as they search for ‘the one’ together.

Having the person who knows you better than anyone should help you navigate the tricky world of dating.

‘But will they act as the ultimate wingman and help you find love? Or scupper your plans and call you out on all your bullsh*t? Either way it might just be Awkward. As. Hell. ‘

Dated & Related arrives on Netflix on September 2.
