Kate Garraway made quite an entrance as she headed to her radio show this week, with bags and armfuls of clothing in tow.
The presenter, 55, was seen leaving her taxi with a small pull-along suitcase, a large woven shoulder bag and a bundle of clothes in her arms.
Among the items she carried was a suit bag, clothing on hangers, a yellow jacket and a blue towel, which she expertly juggled alongside the rest of her luggage.
The scene is eerily reminiscent of all of us at a budget airline check-in desk trying to get a few extra items past the stringent baggage weight allowance.
Kate, however, was on her way to work at Smooth radio, and looked chic as ever in a green and white patterned maxi dress with a collar, paired with chunky trainers.
It comes after Kate’s husband Derek Draper was revealed to be undergoing surgery on his kidneys following a battle with sepsis.

Derek has required round-the-clock care since contracting Covid-19 in March 2020, leaving him in hospital for a year and requiring further care once he returned home.
A source told The Sun that Derek was back in hospital after ‘life-threatening sepsis’: ‘He is giving the fight against Covid his absolute all, but his kidneys have suffered some pretty serious damage.

‘Doctors explained there was no alternative but to operate. Of course, Kate and the family are worried, but she’s been reassured the procedure itself is routine.
‘Everyone has everything crossed, and Kate is being her usual stoical self and keeping everything running, business as usual, on the home front.’
Kate, who bagged a National Television Award for her documentary Finding Derek, has been praised for her strength in dealing with her husband’s illness.
Taking to social media to thank her followers for their support earlier this month, Kate wrote: ‘Thank you so so much for all your messages of support – they really do mean the world to me & the whole family.’
