Fashion guru Kanye West kept it seriously casual as he stepped out for a meal in an upscale restaurant.

The musician, 45, is one of the most famous people in the world and naturally doesn’t have to get glammed up to gain entry to an exclusive venue.

Dad-of-four Kanye, who is in the middle of a divorce from ex Kim Kardashian, proved this beyond doubt this week as he dined out in Santa Monica’s Giorgio Baldi restaurant.

Known for being a regular celeb hotspot, Giorgio’s draws the likes of Rihanna, Victoria Beckham and Taylor Swift, and Kanye graced the venue this weekendfor a solo meal.

The star dressed ultra-casually for the day out, snapped leaving the restaurant in a baggy purple hoodie filled with holes, along with a scruffy grey cap and grey jeans.

Yeezy fashion icon Kanye wore his hoodie up as he headed out of the venue, and appeared to be letting his facial hair grow out.

The musician has been keeping a relatively low-profile in recent months, following the release of album Donda and a fairly public spat with Kim’s former boyfriend Pete Davidson, with the pair going their separate ways in July after nine months together.

However the star made headlines last week when he was criticised for selling his new Yeezy Gap range out of ‘rubbish bags’ – though he insisted they were actually ‘large construction bags.’

In a new interview, he argued he was ‘an innovator’ and was not going to ‘sit up an apologise about ideas.’

‘That’s exactly what the media tries to do: make us apologize for any idea that doesn’t fall under exactly the way they want us to think,’ he told Fox News.

Fans had previously been baffled when seeing the latest release of clothes from the collection, which some dubbed ‘gentrified thrifting’.
