Alexandra Burke celebrated at Notting Hill Carnival in eye-catching style less than two months after giving birth to her first child.

The former X Factor star stunned in the elaborate costume as she hit the streets at the famous event on Monday – complete with a breast pump.

The singer, who recently turned 34, looked stunning in the gear, which included a black high-cut bodysuit with colourful African print embroidery at the cleavage.

She also donned matching, dramatic angel wings made out of colourful feathers attached to her back and elaborate accessories adorning her thighs.

To complete the look, the star wore a custom-made hair piece atop her faux ‘Marley’ dreadlocks hairstyle.

Alexandra, who was accompanied by pals Chloe Moses and Nicole Moses to what is traditionally known as ‘jump up’ with The Utopia Band, proudly showed off her post-baby figure as she posed for fans and photographers.

The trio were there to promote Elvie Stride breast pumps, which they wore under their costumes as part of the Pumps on Parade campaign, which aims to normalise breastfeeding and pumping in public.

The campaign follows research by Elvie that reveals almost half of mothers feel they lose a sense of self when breastfeeding or pumping, and two thirds give up on activities or hobbies during the first year of breastfeeding.

This year marks the return of the iconic Notting Hill event after a two year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Just a few days ago, Alexandra gave fans a glimpse at her baby as she marked her 34th birthday in Monte-Carlo

The singer wore a green dress as she posed in front of a water feature in Monaco, cradling and gazing lovingly at her little one.

She welcomed her baby with her boyfriend, West Ham’s Darren Randolph, in July but hadn’t yet shown off her bundle of joy to fans.

She had announced the news of her baby’s birth with a photo of its tiny feet on Instagram, telling her fans: ‘Welcome to the world our little grape. We already love you more than words can say.’

Alexandra and Darren, 35, announced that they were expecting a baby in February after less than a year of dating.

Alexandra is also yet to reveal her baby’s name after admitting she struggled to come up with the perfect moniker after her child was born.
