A Big Brother US contestant has been branded ‘racist’ by fans, after some live footage from his ongoing stint in the house has been revealed.

Contestant Kyle Capener, 29, was seen saying that he thought the remaining contestants of color are teaming up to beat out white contestants.

He remains one of eleven as they fight to be crowned the winner of Big Brother’s 24th series.

In a video that wasn’t aired during the episode on television, but was spotted by fans during the show’s 24-hour live stream, Capener said: ‘Those six with that background it looks very similar to the Cookout, with a very diverse background.’

Capener was referring to an all-black contestant alliance from series 23, which saw Big Brother US crown its first black winner.

He continued: ‘They’ve all expressed why they’re in this game. Joseph – more middle eastern representation in TV. Indy – there’s never been a Brazilian contestant or winner. Everyone has those strong that all coincide.

‘I look at our alliance and it’s great because it was based out of necessity and our backs were against the wall and that’s what brought us together, take away that necessity or the fear of risk of bigger alliance out there… I don’t know.’

The contestant claimed that another alliance forming was his ‘biggest fear right now’ (Picture: Twitter)

He added that another alliance forming was his ‘biggest fear right now.’

As the clip went viral on social media, fans slammed Capener as racist, and accused the show’s production team of editing out the clip from the main episode to ‘protect’ him, with the hashtag #StopProtectingKyle going viral on Twitter.

‘Wow!!! KKKyle now explicitly saying that he wants to target all of the racial/ethnic minorities in the house and his biggest fear is them uniting against him,’ one viewer wrote.

His biggest life accomplishment will be finishing 8th or, if he’s lucky, 7th in big brother 24.

As a white woman, it is not my place to say that I know exactly what they feel, but none of the POC houseguests deserve that and Kyle Capener is a horrible person. I hope the POC houseguests are truly okay and know they do not deserve to be isolated or labeled

So CBS can show micro-aggressions, white houseguests being racist, black people emotionally broken down but they draw the line at showing white people getting exposed. Show Kyle Capener for what he is #StopProtectingKyle

Another penned: ‘Kyle Capener is a deplorable, downright nasty, ugly racist. The way CBS is protecting him is disgusting. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.’

Someone else found clips of Capener during other days in the Big Brother house, where he referred to his ‘alliance’ as the ‘silent majority’.

‘A term frequently used by Trump supporters’, one fan pointed out, while another noted: ‘He names three people of color as being loud and aggressive, none of it being true.’

While CBS has yet to comment on fans demands for Capener to be axed from the show, a disclaimer at the start of episodes reads: ‘Big Brother is a reality show about a group of people who have no privacy 24/7. At times, the houseguests may reveal prejudices and other beliefs that CBS does not condone. Views or opinions expressed by a houseguest are those of the individuals speaking and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS. Viewer discretion is advised.’
