Married At First Sight’s Thomas Hartley furiously clashes with husband Adrian Anderson’s best friend: ‘You are insignificant’-Louise Griffin-Entertainment – Metro

Married At First Sight’s newest married couple Thomas Hartley and Adrian Anderson got off to a rocky start – and it was all down to Adrian’s best friend.

Things weren’t totally smooth sailing for the couple from the beginning, as Thomas was left horrified when he walked down the aisle that his new hubby was blonde, brutally comparing him to Clare Balding.

However, things only got worse at the reception, when Adrian’s best pal Katie grilled Thomas with questions, asking everything from why his brother wasn’t there, to what his dream life looked like.

‘Do you work for Channel 4?’ Thomas’ mum retorted.

‘I’m Tom’s mum and I wouldn’t dream of asking Adrian any of these questions,’ she added. ‘And Katie’s just a friend. If Katie carries on, Tom will go mad.’

‘Katie really is grilling me as if she’s part of the experiment and she’s one of the experts,’ Thomas told the cameras. ‘Like b**ch, be quiet.’

‘You are not my husband and you are not a relative,’ he added. ‘You are insignificant’.

Talking to Adrian, he said: ‘I don’t feel like I’ve been able to sit and have a conversation with you because everyone’s asking questions.’

Going on to address Katie, he added: Not everyone, you. He’s a fully grown a** man who needs to look after himself.’

‘It hasn’t given me a minute to have a conversation with you,’ he added to Adrian.

Finally, the couple got a chance to speak, where Thomas admitted he didn’t anticipate Adrian’s ‘PR manager’ attending.

However, it seems the pair are more than happy to give the marriage a go, with Adrian describing Thomas as an ‘open’ person and Thomas enjoying getting to know his new husband.

Safe to say fans weren’t too impressed with Katie, with one writing: ‘Katie giving Paxman a run for his money here.’

‘Katie. Stop. Talking!!! Jesus she is toooo much but Thomas just bit,’ another added, while one more said: ‘Jesus who is marrying Tom here. Adrian or Katie.’

While things ended well for Adrian and Tom during the episode, the preview teased a fiery row between the pair.

So, as for whether they’ll go the distance, only time will tell…

Married At First Sight continues tomorrow at 9pm on E4.
