Louise Thompson has opened up about gaining weight while being on anti-depressants.

The Made In Chelsea star, who has spoken candidly about her life on social media, shared a new update amid her life.

Sharing a photo of her stomach on her Instagram Stories, Louise wrote: ‘I’ve put on some weight over the past two months. When you take steroids you might put on weight because your appetite increases.

‘This is also the case for a couple of the anti-depressants I’ve been on (with the exception of Escitalopram). The one I’m currently taking definitely makes me more hungry, especially when I feel surges of serotonin.

‘It’s like I immediately crave sugar and run to the fridge.’

Louise added that the shakes she takes for her ulcerative colitis can also cause weight gain, and explained that, having noticed why she’s putting on more weight, she would like to safely make a lifestyle change in not just drinking the shakes out of habit.
