Lando Norris splits from girlfriend Luisinha Oliveira after a year of dating-Louise Griffin-Entertainment – Metro

Formula 1 driver Lando Norris has announced his split from his girlfriend Luisinha Oliveira, just a few months after the pair confirmed their romance.

The 22-year-old driver confirmed his relationship with the model earlier this year, but the pair have decided to part ways.

Lando announced the news in a now-deleted post on Instagram, writing: ‘Hello everyone.

‘After time and consideration, Luisa and myself have mutually decided to end our relationship but remain good friends.

‘I wish her the world and have so much respect for her and all she does as an amazing and strong woman with nothing but kindness.

‘Please respect our decision and respect our – but more importantly and especially her privacy moving forward.

‘Thank you for your endless support.’

Just a few weeks ago, Lando celebrated a year with Luisinha, sharing loved up photos on Instagram.

Luisinha hasn’t publicly addressed the split, instead taking to her Instagram Stories to share a message reading: ‘Enjoy every given moment’.

The former couple confirmed their relationship during a holiday to Dubai earlier this year, with Lando dubbing Luisinha his ‘sunshine’.

Lando also recently celebrated his teammate Daniel Ricciardo after Ricciardo and McLaren announced that they had mutually agreed to terminate the driver’s contract early, with the Australian set to leave the Woking-based team at the end of 2022.

He wrote on Instagram: ‘What a ride Daniel Ricciardo.

‘From that moment in Monza, to the laughs we’ve had out of the car, it’s been a joy working with you these last two years. Whatever’s next I wish you all the best, let’s have a mega next few months.’

Lando stepped up to the McLaren team in 2019 after coming second in the Formula 2 championship behind current Mercedes driver George Russell.
