Frankie Bridge reveals she’s ‘disappointed’ by her Strictly Come Dancing stint despite reaching finals-Ruth Lawes-Entertainment – Metro

Frankie Bridge has opened up about her time on Strictly Come Dancing nearly a decade after she was crowned runner-up.
The Saturdays singer hit the ballroom in the 2014 version of the flagship BBC show, dancing alongside pro dancer Kevin Clifton.
After wowing audiences with her moves, the 33-year-old made it to the finals of the dancing competition series, which saw the late Caroline Flack and Pasha Kovalev crowned winners.
Despite being a runner-up, along with Simon Webbe and Kristiane Rihanoff, the S Club Juniors star revealed she was ‘disappointed’ with her stint on the juggernaut programme.
Speaking on Friday’s Loose Women, Frankie explained that when she watches back the 12th season she can tell she’s ‘overthinking’ it.
Her comments on Strictly came as she advised Loose Women co-host Kaye Adams, who will be brushing off her dancing shoes for this year’s instalment.
Frankie told the journalist to ‘throw everything into it’, joking that the audience doesn’t have high expectations for the 59-year-old because she doesn’t have a background in performance.

Meanwhile, Frankie said she felt the ‘pressure’ because she had experienced choreography in her former career in girl bands.
Kaye will be competing for the Glitterball Trophy against the likes of Two Pints Of Lager and A Packet Of Crisps actor Will Mellor, singer Fleur East, and Coronation Street’s Kym Marsh.
Besides Will, Fleur, and Kym, the celebrity line-up also includes Ted Lasso actress Ellie Taylor, Paralympic swimming gold medallist Ellie Simmonds and Bros singer Matt Goss.

Kiss radio host Tyler West, Britain’s Got Talent finalist Molly Rainford, comedian and actress Jayde Adams, Wildlife cameraman and presenter Hamza Yassin and BBC Radio 2’s Richie Anderson are also on the bill.
Head judge Shirley Ballas returns this year alongside judges Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse, with Du Beke becoming a regular fixture on the judging panel following Bruno Tonioli’s exit.
Loose Women airs on weekdays at 12.30PM on ITV, while Strictly Come Dancing launches on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on September 17.
