Tyson Fury will be in attendance for WWE Clash At The Castle this weekend and boss Triple H has suggested he might not just be there to watch.

The Gypsy King has had a long-running social media feud with Drew McIntyre over the past few years, and he’ll be ringside on Saturday (September 3) for the Scottish Warrior’s Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns in Cardiff, Wales.

Now, Triple H – real name Paul Levesque – has hinted at a bigger role for Fury if the mood strikes.

Speaking to BBC 1Xtra’s DJ Ace, he said: ‘I’m going to put cameras on him and see what he does. Which is usually something magic.

‘Look if it’s physical, it’s going to be because in that moment he decides he wants it to be physical. If it’s not, it’s because in that moment he decides it’s not physical.’

It sounds like WWE’s head of creative is willing to let Fury take the lead this weekend, and with good reason considering his skills as a ‘natural born entertainer’ and lifelong fan of professional wrestling.

He added: ‘One thing about him [Tyson] is that he’s a natural born entertainer.

‘When he was getting ready to go to Saudi and wrestle Braun Strowman we did a bunch of media together and he kept telling me that earlier in his life he never envisioned himself as being a boxer, he envisioned himself as being a WWE superstar.’

His comments come after Fury – who has spoken a lot about his desire to get involved in the company’s first major UK stadium show in three decades – confirmed he will be ringside at the Principality Stadium this weekend.

He said: ‘Tyson Fury here! I’m really excited for the first WWE premium live event in 30 years, going down at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff – [Clash] At The Castle, where Drew McIntyre challenges Roman reigns for the WWE Undisputed Heavyweight Championship.

‘I will be sat ringside, live and exclusive, to watch this great event. Check it out guys, all the best, God bless. See you all there – cannot wait! Psyched!’
