Armie Hammer’s alleged sexual assault accuser has blasted the upcoming docuseries House Of Hammer for ‘exploiting [her] trauma.’

The 35-year-old actor was accused of emotional abuse, violence and sexual assault by multiple women, claims which he vehemently denied, in early 2021.

Shortly after the allegations were made public, the Call Me By Your Name star checked into a rehab facility in Florida for seven months, seeking help for drug, alcohol, and sex issues.

In 2021, 26-year-old Effie, who reportedly isn’t giving her real name due to fears of retaliation, claimed the actor ‘violently raped’ her, which he vehemently denied.

Effie alleged series producers reached out to ask if she would appear in the feature-length.

Addressing the interaction, she said: ‘It is extremely inappropriate of you to exploit such a tragic, vulnerable time in many people’s lives, with no regard whatsoever for our healing process and privacy.’

‘The way they’ve been exploiting my trauma is disgusting. When I keep screaming ‘no’ and they keep going, saying they don’t need my permission, they remind me of Armie,’ she added to the LA Times.

A trailer for the programme aired last month and included testimony from two women who were subjected to his sexual fetishes.

A text allegedly sent from Hammer to one of two women read: ‘I am 100 percent a cannibal. I want to eat you.’

One woman also details the abuse she allegedly endured, saying that things started fantastically ‘but then things change’ as he ‘pushes your boundaries a little bit at a time.’

The release teases: ‘Debauchery. Deceit. Abuse. Addiction. Corruption. Over the course of five generations, the men in the Hammer family have more secrets and scandals than any vault can contain.

‘Armie Hammer’s alleged crimes are only the tip of the iceberg.’

Hammer’s attorney, Andrew Brettler, said in a statement to Metro.co.uk at the time: ‘From day one, Mr. Hammer has maintained that all of his interactions [with every sexual partner] have been completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory.’

Following the allegations, Hammer was dropped by his agent and cut from a series of projects.

Metro.co.uk has reached out to Discovery Plus for comment.

House of Hammer will air on Discovery+ from September 2.
