A glamorous Eddie Izzard in a thigh-high split dress was among guests including Noel Gallagher at the London premiere of a new David Bowie film on Monday.

Moonage Daydream’s screening at the BFI IMAX in Waterloo saw Eddie don an ankle-length pale pink dress with a floral blue pattern.

Featuring a split up the side, the comedian and actor accessorised the outfit with pale blue pointed stiletto heels and glamorous matching red lipstick and nails in another fetching appearance.

Moonage Daydream uses ‘thousands of hours’ of never-before-seen footage from the music icon’s personal archive and is classified as neither a documentary nor biography.

The ‘cinematic odyssey exploring David Bowie’s creative and musical journey’ is directed by Brett Morgen officially approved by the Bowie estate.

Joining Eddie at the event was former Oasis star and High Flying Birds frontman Noel Gallagher.
