The Married At First Sight UK reunion left contestants storming out, gossip spreading all throughout the room, and one contestant in floods of tears.

While April Banbury and George Roberts arrived at the reunion hand-in-hand, looking as happy as ever, things turned tense when he revealed to the other contestants what had happened during their honeymoon.

While away on their romantic trip, April had actually kissed someone else in the hot tub, but later explained it away as a ‘dare’.

During an episode earlier this week, George revealed: ‘I woke up this morning numb and cold, we had a lovely evening, I later came back and realised there had been an incident.

‘It was heartbreaking and a massive kick in the teeth, she’d been intimate with someone else. I’ve been cheated on,’ he repeated.

April soon turned up at George’s door with a bottle of champagne as a ‘peace offering’, to try and explain the incident. 

After Miss Great Britain 2020 asked why her spouse decided to ‘storm off’, he replied: ‘I came back to the hot tub and something had happened.

However, she promised it ‘meant nothing’, and told him: ‘We were just having fun! Playing dares and stuff. 

‘I thought most guys would be happy, two girls kissing in a hot tub,’ April teased to the cameras.

She went on to apologise: ‘I’m really sorry if it has upset you but I didn’t even think anything of it, it really was nothing, it wasn’t.’

However, the incident was revisited in tonight’s episode, as George started retelling the story to other contestants.

He began by telling Richie: ‘Everything was great and then like the last night, this f**king nearly killed me, I was at the bar getting drinks and I went back to the hot tub and I could have ripped the ring off my finger right there, she kissed a girl in the hot tub.’

He added: ‘You know, if her head turns again I’m gone.’

When the gossip spread through the room, partly as contestants told one another and because George had told a fair few people by the end of the dinner, April was left surprised to hear the news come back to her from Thomas.

‘I just thought it was a fun game,’ she tearfully shared.

She continued: ‘I feel like I’m being judged, and the fact that he told people and he made me feel like I was a bad person and we got past that,’ adding to the camera that George telling other people ‘really hurts’.

‘I look like a d**khead apparently,’ she told Thomas and George, repeating: ‘I thought it was a game of truth or dare’.

She added to the camera: ‘The fact that he betrayed me a bit and he’s gossiped and bitched about me, it makes me question where his morals are at. It makes me feel like he’s not really over it, and that can damage George and I moving forward. Can I trust him? I’m not sure. It’s really upsetting.’
