Courteney Cox has responded to Kanye West’s recent comments about Friends ‘not being funny’ – and she’s not happy!
The actress, who starred as Monica Geller on the iconic sitcom, shared a video after Kanye denied writing some viral posts that were attributed to him, claiming that they were doctored.
Among them was a claim that Friends wasn’t funny, although the rapper, 45, went on to say that he ‘wishes’ he’d written that one.
Responding, Courteney, 58, posted a video of herself reading the post with Kanye’s Heartless playing.
Joking that she was stunned by the post, Courteney defiantly turned off the song before storming off.
Spelling Kanye’s name wrong in her caption, she wrote: ‘I bet the old Kayne thought Friends was funny ☹️.’
The rapper recently denied sharing various posts attributed to him, including one saying ex-wife Kim Kardashian has a diarrhoea problem, with the rapper claiming it was a doctored post.
Kanye, who has been sharing countless posts on social media over the weekend, put up a screenshot of the viral post on his grid, made to look like it came from him and was initially shared on his Stories.
Putting a pink smudge through his ex’s name, with whom her shares four children, the claim suggested that Kim suffered with diarrhoea ‘a lot’.
‘Like way more than a normal person should have it,’ it added.

As the 45-year-old called out the fake post though, he couldn’t help but make a dig at Kim’s ex-boyfriend, Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, 28, too.
‘This was not from me. Someone copied my style of text and wrote something not funny,’ the Stronger chart-topper said alongside the post.
He also took the opportunity to set the record straight on another post that people assumed had been authored by him, continuing: ‘I know you guys gonna be disappointed but I actually didn’t write the teeet [sic] that said “Friends wasn’t funny either” but I wish I had I’d love to know who thought of that I like to post comments Cause y’all n****s is hilarious.’
Throwing in a dig at Pete during his comments, which were posted without punctuation, he added: ‘I love funny people and I think that’s one of the reasons me and Skete could’ve never been friends.’
He the listed his top comics, revealing: ‘Comedically some of my favorites are Me Mitch Hedberg Anthony Jeselnik Louis CK Jerrod Carmichael Deray JP Smooth Mase Elon Musk 50 Justin LaBoy GLC Eddie Murphy Sakiya Sandifer Chris Rock Larry David Kevin Hart (In Jumanji) and of course King David Dave Chapelle.’
