Paul Hollywood, 56, is the only of the four current judges and presenters who starred in the original BBC series in 2010.
After beginning his career as a teenager, the celebrity chef and TV personality is also known for appearances on The American Baking Competition on CBS, Paul Hollywood’s Pies and Puds, BBC One’s The Generation Game, The Heaven and Earth Show, ITV’s This Morning, and The Alan Titchmarsh Show.
Originally, he judged alongside Bake Off icon Mary Berry, and the show was then presented by Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc.
Prue Leith, 82, will also return having first joined the show in 2017 when it moved from the BBC to Channel 4, replacing Mary Berry.
The South African restaurateur, chef, caterer, television presenter/broadcaster, journalist, cookery writer, and novelist was a judge on BBC Two’s Great British Menu for eleven years, before joining the Bake Off.

You can get your first taste of Bake Off goodness with a brand-new trailer teasing the new series.
In it, Matt and Noel already have the new contestants chuckling before chaos erupts in the tense.
‘Oh flip!’ shouts one new baker, Maxy, while Matt is reassuring another baker: ‘It landed the right side up!’
‘Utterly delicious,’ Prue begins, before a montage of Paul’s criticism takes over…
Who won last year?
Last year’s series saw Italian Giuseppe Dell’Anno crowned as the winner.
Giuseppe wowed judges and fans alike (Picture: Twitter @BritishBakeOff)
He beat off competition from Crystelle Perreira and Will Chirag (aka Chigs) in a nail-biting finale.
A fan-favourite from early on, Giuseppe was named Star Baker several times across this series of the show, making him a very deserving winner.
Following the final scenes of the show, Giuseppe took to Instagram to express his gratitude after an exhausting yet exhilarating experience.
‘I could have never done it without the support of my wife, my fellow bakers and the constant support from the production team’ he wrote in the caption, while other former Bake Off stars commented underneath.
‘Superstar- so well deserved!’ wrote 2019 finalist Steph Blackwell, while series nine winner Rahul Mandal added: ‘Well done Sir!! You are an amazing baker and an incredible friend!’
The Great British Bake Off returns to Channel 4 on Tuesday, 13 September at 8pm.
