The King of Adventure, Harrison Ford, is back for Indiana Jones 5, his final outing in the iconic film series, and was visibly emotional as he shared a teaser at Disney’s D23 Expo.
That’s right, we got the first trailer for the latest of Indy’s escapades on Saturday during the D23 Expo in California, and its star, Hollywood veteran Harrison, appeared onstage to speak about the footage.
He was joined by director James Mangold and his co-star, actress and writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
He looked emotional as he thanked the crowd for all the support through the years.
‘Thank you for making these films such an incredible experience for all of us,’ he said.
‘I’m very proud to say that this one is fantastic. And this,’ he added, pointing to Fleabag star Phoebe, ‘is one of the reasons.’
‘Indiana Jones’ movies are about fantasy and mystery, but they’re also about heart,’ he continued, his voice wavering. ‘We have a really great story to tell, as well as a movie that will kick your ass.’

The short trailer, which is yet to be publically released, showed multiple action sequences, including the Witness star riding a horse through New York City and onto the subway tracks.
Other scenes also appeared to show a younger, de-aged version of the world-famous fictional archaeologist.
The horseback chase is believed to have been filmed in Glasgow, after a body double for the action star was seen riding through the streets last year during filming.

There was also another trip down memory lane, as Harrison and his former co-star Ke Huy Quan, who played Short Round, appeared in a heartwarming snap at the expo.
Short Round was introduced in 1984’s Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and was one of the most memorable characters in the film.
‘I love you, Indy,’ Quan captioned the snap. ‘Indiana Jones and Short Round reunited after 38 years.’
The as-yet-untitled film, currently dubbed Indiana Jones 5, will be the 80-year-old’s final outing as the much-loved action hero, coming 40 years after he first played the role in Raiders Of The Lost Ark in 1981.
‘This is it!’ he confirmed. ‘I will not fall down for you again.’
The Blade Runner star was injured in 2021 as he shot the movie, but recovered to complete filming.
