Disney Plus dropped the highly-anticipated first look at The Mandalorian season three, and fans can expect to see some familiar faces as well as new ones.
The season two ending of the popular space western caught many by surprise. With things looking dire for Din Djarin Pedro Pascal) and his crew as they tried to take out the series’ villain Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito), a strange hooded figure appears.
It was later revealed that the figure is none other than Luke Skywalker himself, who comes to take Grogu – or Baby Yoda if you like – away to train as a Jedi.
The epic teaser begins with the titular lead in the wake of season two being warned about removing his helmet, meaning he’s a Mandalorian no more.
The sneak peek also revealed that Katee Sackhoff Carl Weathers, Paul Sun-Huyng Lee, Amy Sedaris, and Omid Abtahi will be back for the third installment, along with a whole crew ruthless Mandalorians.
While an official release date hasn’t been confirmed, we know devoted viewers won’t have long to wait as the popular series will return next year.
