Matt LeBlanc kept his head down as he stepped out for a rare appearance in public.

The actor, who shot to worldwide superstardom as the iconic Joey Tribbiani in Friends, has kept mostly out of the spotlight in recent years.

However, the 55-year-old was spotted enjoying a low-key day out as he ran errands in Encino, California.

He was pictured lugging shopping bags from Ralphs, donning a blue Ford T-shirt and jeans for the casual shopping trip.

The Hollywood star opted to keep a low profile, finishing the look off with a grey baseball cap and black sunglasses.

Matt made an epic return to our screens recently after taking part in the Friends reunion with co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox.

The episode aired in May last year, and saw the Central Park gang reminisce over their time on the beloved show, spilling gossip that we had been kept in the dark about for two decades.

Side note: We’re still not over David and Jennifer secretly crushing on each other.

Fans of the show will soon be able to hear more behind the scenes takes when Matthew releases his long-awaited autobiography, which is set to be ‘juicy’.

‘So much has been written about me in the past. I thought it was time people heard from me,’ he said of the book on Instagram.

‘The highs were high, the lows were low. But I have lived to tell the tale, even though at times it looked like I wouldn’t. And it’s all in here. I apologize it’s not a pop up book.’

According to reports, the memoir, titled Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing, will be on shelves in November and will delve into his addiction battle, as well as his thoughts on his Friends co-stars.

‘It wasn’t always a bed of roses for Matthew on and off the Friends set,’ a source told Us Weekly.

‘And Matt isn’t going to sugarcoat the tougher times that he went through with the cast.’

‘It’s not going to be salacious or mean, just totally honest,’ the insider added.

‘But given the nature of Matt’s life and his experiences, that guarantees this will be an incredibly juicy read!’
