While some people might still choose to spend their money on luxury items, others are increasingly opting for dupe products in order to save some cash.

One woman named Ashley, also known on TikTok as ‘ashbutcallmequeen’, took to the video sharing platform to show off her amazing dupe find and it’s left many people open-mouthed. 

Ashley uploaded her video with the caption ‘Shein Airpod Max dupes’.

In her video, Ashley uses a voiceover from The Simpsons, of Marge debating whether to buy something.

She shows off the wireless headphones – that look strikingly similar to the Apple Airpod Max ones – that are available on the Shein website, as the voiceover says: “This is a real find”.

In a follow-up video, Ashley gave her honest review of the bargain headphones.

She said: “Hey guys, I am back to leave a review, I got a lot of comments so let’s get started.

“So here are the beauties – they are $13 on Shein, I paid $8 or $9,50, because you know, Shein always has coupons or points.

“The whole thing is plastic which makes them very light.

“They fold in like Airpod Maxes.

“They feel very light, which is not a bad thing, as headphones like this are usually very heavy and they squeeze your ears and after a little while, they give you a headache, but I don’t think these would do that.

“They’re very, very comfy.

“They’re not adjustable, so keep that in mind, but they fit my head perfectly.

“I played everything from R&B to Meg The Stallion and I was very surprised by the quality of music.

“Obviously not Beat Pro sound of music but very good for $9 headphones.

“I love them so far.”

The Airpods Max are currently available to buy online but they aren’t cheap – they will cost you a whopping £549.

If you can’t afford to make such a big purchase, Ashley recommends these Shein headphones, which are listed for just £11.

If you don’t have over £500 spare or are looking to buy things cheaply at the moment, these Shein dupes are a huge £538 cheaper than the Apple ones.

TikTok users were very impressed with the dupes and took to the comments to express this.
