Sharon Osbourne was among the first groups of people to view the Queen lying in state in London today.
The former X Factor judge made the trip down to Westminster Hall on Wednesday afternoon where she joined the lengthy queue of people to see the late monarch’s coffin.
Queen Elizabeth II died at her Balmoral home on September 8 at the age of 96, and her coffin was flown back to London last night arriving at Buckingham Palace where she was received by King Charles III and his other siblings including the Princess Royal.
At 2:22pm, a procession began as Her Majesty’s coffin was transported to Westminster Hall where it will remain until her funeral on Monday so members of the public can pay their respects.
Osbourne, 69, was spotted among the thick crowds and one mourner even managed to grab a selfie with the TV personality.
It appears the presenter, who is married to rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, was accompanied by a crew filming for her TalkTV series The Talk, as her co-host JJ Anisiobi was also seen with her.
After joining the queue, which is currently stretching to over two miles long, Osbourne caught up with ITV News and explained why she decided to make the historic trip down.
‘I love the Queen and I came over for this because I’m a royalist and I love the royal family,’ she said.
‘No matter what would change in this country and, you know, everything changes in life but she never did. And it was just wonderful to have her.’
It comes after Osbourne heaped praise on the newly-appointed King Charles III, who ascended to the throne upon his beloved mother’s death last Thursday.

Speaking to Piers Morgan on his Talk TV show, Osbourne said: ‘It’s unsettling and I know the mourning will go on and on and on for our Queen, people will never stop mourning for her.
‘But I do have to say, that I think Charles will be an amazing King. I have so much respect for him and I think he will take care of all of us.’
Osbourne continued: ‘He will be a good King, he can’t be follow, he can’t fill her shoes but he will do it his way and I have full confidence, I adore him, I respect him and he will do great things for this country.’
The Queen’s funeral service will begin at 11am on Monday at Westminster Abbey. She will then be buried at St George’s Chapel alongside her late husband Prince Philip, who died in April 2021.
