Logan Paul will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
The two global superstars will clash in the ring at the huge stadium show on Saturday, September 5 as announced during a fiery press conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Introducing the huge bout, WWE boss Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque said: ‘Roman Reigns will take on Logan Paul… for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. It will be a match like no other, it will be a spectacle like no other.’
Roman had some strong words for his opponent, pointing out that despite his status as a social media sensation and a great start to his wrestling career, he can’t match the Tribal Chief for experience.
‘Now, I’d be lying if I told you I knew all about Logan Paul. I’ve been given the statistics, the facts that I need to know,’ he said. ‘There’s no doubt that this guy’s done a hell of a job… He’s had two matches, I’ve been the champ for over two years.’
Describing himself as the ‘disrupter’ and hyping up both himself and his brother Jake, Logan later added: ‘Roman Reigns, you are the Head of the Table, but brother, in every industry I ever do, I am the table. Roman Reigns will acknowledge me.’

The feud with the Head of the Table came after Roman seemingly took exception to remarks made after his recent interview on Logan’s Impaulsive podcast was over.
Roman tweeted: ‘I bless the world and bring the Island of Relevancy to your show. You and your boys acknowledge me and as soon as I’m gone you run your mouth?!’
Tagging his special counsel Paul Heyman, he added: ‘Wiseman, handle him.’

Heyman would respond: ‘I am in receipt of your command, and I shall indeed bestow upon @LoganPaul the wisdom he so desperately lacks. My #TribalChief, please consider this HANDLED!’
A few hours later, it became clear Logan wasn’t backing down, as he replied: ‘Exactly how do you plan on handling me?’
It didn’t take long for Triple H to weigh in, noting he had the perfect outlet for The Bloodline and Logan to air their grievances, and it sounds like the YouTuber could be lining up for his next WWE bout.
The Game tweeted: ‘…It just so happens I have a globally televised platform to allow our Superstars to “handle” their issues with one another … consider this an invite for #Smackdown tomorrow night!’
Logan turned up on Friday night and clashed with The Bloodline, first threatening Roman via his special counsel Paul Heyman, and then knocking out Sami Zayn before costing him his match with Ricochet.
Despite only signing with WWE earlier in the year, Logan already has some experience wrestling in front of tens of thousands of people.
He won his WWE debut against Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38 in April with The Miz by his side before facing the A-Lister himself at SummerSlam in an epic grudge match.
Now, he’s set for the most high profile bout of his career fighting for the top prize in the game.
