Graham Norton has hailed the public reaction following Queen Elizabeth’s death as ‘genuine’ but not ‘rational.’
Buckingham Palace confirmed the death of the Queen on September 8, aged 96, sharing that she died ‘peacefully’ while surrounded by loved ones at Balmoral Castle.
Ahead of Her Majesty’s funeral, which is taking place on Monday, thousands have been waiting patiently across the Capital to pay their final respects.
TV presenter Norton expressed how moved he was by the nation’s overwhelming support, as several mourners queued for 14 hours.
‘It’s gorgeous to see the way people respond,’ he said.
‘It’s not rational, but it’s genuine,’ he added to the Sunday Times.
