Noel Fielding has paid a special tribute to Queen Elizabeth II on the day of her funeral.
The late monarch – who died aged 96 at Balmoral on September 8 – was laid to rest on Monday and the Great British Bake Off star showed off his artistic skills with a series of pieces to commemorate the occasion.
He shared five drawings depicting different stages of the day, including views of the coffin itself, and one of it being carried by pallbearers.
One of the drawings is an overhead view of Westminster Abbey during the state funeral, with the building’s iconic checked floor seen with mourners sat in the pews.
Another drawing shows King Charles III and his wife Camilla, Queen Consort during the service.
Noel – who frequently delights fans with his artwork – simply wrote ‘Queen’s Funeral’ and other very similar captions alongside the series, and his followers loved what he created.

‘Loving this series,’ commented former Bake Off contestant Rahul Mandal, who added: ‘A moment in history captured in your strokes! Beautiful.’
‘You’ve captured Charles particularly,’ a fan replied, while another wrote: ‘You captured that moment perfectly’.
And a different person admired the way Noel had created his work in real time as the day went on, saying: ‘I love that youre doing these in real time! I need to get on your level when im make art work haha (sic)’

A number of stars around the world have been paying their own tributes to the Queen, including Sir Elton John, who shared two pictures of their meetings together over the years on Instagram on the day of her state funeral.
‘Today I’ll be joining the rest of the world in remembering Her Majesty The Queen,’ he wrote. ‘My own memories of her are filled with joy and admiration. The Queen honoured me with a CBE, a knighthood and the Companion of Honour.
‘I was lucky enough to perform at three of her Jubilees. They were always joyous and humbling experiences.’
He then added: ‘But it was the moments out of the public eye that I will most fondly remember her for; dancing together to ‘Rock Around the Clock’ at Windsor Castle or experiencing her great wit, warmth and humour first hand. She served with grace and dedication, and she will be sorely missed.’
Meanwhile, Stephen Fry praised the ‘ritual, ceremony and symbol’ of the Queen’s funeral as the 65-year-old actor and comedian tuned in to the service from a hotel room in New York from 3am local time.
He said on Twitter: ‘Watching the #queensfuneral from 3am onwards in a New York hotel room somehow brings me closer to it all than if I were back home. Words can’t compete with such ritual, ceremony and symbol. Think how many jigsaw puzzles will come from this…’
