Peep Show star Sophie Winkleman has been spotted in attendance at the Queen’s state funeral at Westminster Abbey on Monday morning.
The Big Suze actress, who was seen standing vigil by the late monarch’s coffin in Westminster Hall earlier this week, was among those paying their respects to Her Majesty following her death at Balmoral on September 9 aged 96.
The funeral service began shortly after 11am the royal family, including Prince George and Princess Charlotte, walking behind the lead-lined oak casket through the church.
The monumental day marks the last of the national mourning period, and the climax of the biggest security operation the UK has ever seen, surpassing the Platinum Jubilee and 2012 London Olympics.
Big Suze’s Winkelman was spied walking into Westminster Abbey ahead of the service. Dressed in black, she completed her outfit with a black hat.
Winkelman recently stunned those turning into the BBC’s live footage when she was seen standing with the royals on Friday.
