Chrissy Teigen has shared her joy at being able to feel her unborn baby moving after losing her previous pregnancy.
The reality star, 36, who is married to John Legend, announced earlier this year that she was expecting again, after losing her son Jack in October 2020 halfway through her pregnancy.
The pair recently revealed that their unborn son’s death occurred due to a medical termination in order to save Chrissy’s life, rather than a miscarriage as she had originally assumed.
Mum-of-two Chrissy explained in a new interview that they learned their son ‘would not survive,’ and neither would she ‘without any medical intervention’.
She said: ‘Let’s just call it what it was: It was an abortion. An abortion to save my life for a baby that had absolutely no chance.’
Now pregnant again, Chrissy admitted in August that she was nervous to announce the happy news after the suffering she endured with her previous pregnancy.
However, the TV personality has now felt a weight lift off her shoulders as she can feel her baby moving.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, the mum’s relief was palpable as she wrote: ‘I finally feel the baby so I don[‘t need to text my doc for a daily drive by ultrasound any more,’ adding a happy-tears emoji.
Chrissy and John are also parents to Luna, six, and Miles, four, and the American model opened up on how they wanted to expand their family when she announced she was pregnant last month.
Sharing photographs of her bump, as well as bruises on her leg from IVF shots, she wrote on Instagram: ‘The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again. 1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way.
‘Every appointment I’ve said to myself, “ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce”but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.’
She added: ‘I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!’
Horrifically, the still-grieving mum received cruel comments after opening up on the medical termination needed to save her life, with trolls accusing her of ‘milking’ the loss and others even declaring she was lying.

In a follow-up tweet, Chrissy revealed these messages came from the comment section of a glamour magazine, as she dubbed them ‘brutal’.
The couple had announced the death of their unborn son almost two years ago with a heartbreaking social media post featuring harrowing back-and-white photos of Chrissy crying in a hospital bed.
She wrote in the caption: ‘We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before.
‘We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.

‘We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us.’
All Of Me singer John recently opened up about his and Chrissy’s marriage had been challenged by their ordeal.
He told The Guardian: ‘We were tested. It was a tragedy. But I think it strengthened our resolve and our resilience because we were there for each other.
