He’ll only be around for a short time, though.

Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon has already featured a number of recognisable faces, and there’s about to be at least one more.
David Tennant’s son Ty, 20, will appear for the first time next week as the teenage version of Alicent’s son, Aegon Targaryen.
We first met Aegon as an infant in episode three, titled Second of His Name, during which King Viserys (Paddy Conisidine) went on a royal hunt.
Monday’s upcoming episode, titled The Princess and the Queen, will jump forward in time by 10 years. Almost a dozen new faces will enter the show as a result.
Fans are already braced for the departures of Milly Alcock and Emily Carey, who have made the roles of Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower their own.
Milly and Emily will be replaced by Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke respectively, while it is rumoured that up to 11 roles will be played by different actors before the season ends.

Ty’s other credits include the 2019 JRR Tolkien biopic, which starred Nicholas Hoult, as well as the recent TV series adaptation of War of the Worlds.
Much like House of the Dragon co-star Emily Carey, Ty also developed his acting chops on Casualty, playing Aaron McKiernan in one episode in 2019.

Ty is the focus of a short sequence in the episode 6 trailer, as he easily defeats another boy in a sparring match while an ailing Viserys watches on.
As we watch Aegon defeat his opponent, a voiceover from Larys Strong (Matthew Needham) says: ‘What are children but a weakness? Through them, you imagine you will persist forever.’
‘To have one child like that is a mistake… to have three is an insult.’ (Picture: HBO)
As the camera rests on Aegon, Alicent then takes command of the voiceover to explain to Aegon that he will be Westeros’ future king.
Alongside Ty Tennant, actress Evie Allen will play Aegon’s younger sister Helaena, who we last saw as a baby, being handed over by Alicent to one of the Red Keep’s servants in episode five.

Another young male Targaryen entering the frame is Aemond Targaryen, the second son of Viserys and Alicent. We’ve not him just yet, but he will be roughly 9-years-old by the time episode 6 begins.
He’ll be played by Leo Ashton at first, before yet another time-jump occurs before the end of the season, after which point Aemond will be played by Ewan Mitchell.

Princess Rhaenyra will also spend the time-jump having children. By the time we return to Westeros, she’ll have two sons: Jacaerys and Lucerys (known as ‘Jake’ and ‘Luke’).
Jacaerys, who we see shouting ‘Dracrys!’ in the trailer for episode 6, will be played by Leo Hart. Lucerys, on the other hand, will be played in his younger days by Harvey Sadler.
And a third child might well be on the way for Rhaenyra…
