Jada Pinkett Smith looked over the moon to celebrate her birthday with her family, sharing a sweet video of herself blowing out the candles on her cake.

The star, who has just turned 51, had her husband Will by her side as her family sang happy birthday to her in a sweet clip.

‘✨I’m so grateful for all the birthday love yesterday✨ Thank you 🥰🙏🏽🥰,’ she wrote.

Jada’s celebrations, held outside, included a pink cake with petals sprinkled on the top, and a table laden with goodies and with a stunning view of a lake, and with a fire underneath to keep everyone warm.

It clearly had a gorgeous pink theme, and it seems Jada enjoyed the life of luxury on her big day.

Will and Jada, who have been married since 1997 and share kids Jaden and Willow, have been keeping a relatively low profile since the actor slapped comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars earlier this year.

Months afterwards, and after he had been banned from the Academy Awards for 10 years, Will apologised for the slap and for telling Chris to keep his ‘wife’s name out of your f***ing mouth’.

In the clip, the Oscar-winning actor, 53, said he had reached out to the Everybody Hates Chris star – but was told that he ‘wasn’t ready to talk’.

Will also spoke candidly about what happened and said sorry to those impacted, including Jada and their family.

Meanwhile, Jada said of the scandal: ‘This is a really important Red Table Talk on alopecia. Considering what I’ve been through with my own health and what happened at the Oscars, thousands have reached out to me with their stories.

‘I’m using this moment to give our alopecia family an opportunity to talk about what it’s like to have this condition and to inform people about what alopecia actually is.’

She added: ‘Now about Oscar night, my deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile.

‘The state of the world today, we need them both. And we all actually need one another more than ever.
