A big night for the red brand.

WWE superstars Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle saw their intense rivalry escalate to another level on Raw and it’s going to culminate in the Fight Pit.
Just hours after announcing that WarGames is coming to Survivor Series, Triple H has dipped back into his NXT playbook in a big way by revealing another brutal match type making its main roster debut.
The Visionary and the Original Bro were all over Raw this week, getting involved in each other’s matches and scrapping backstage before the challenge was made.
In Monday’s opening contest, Rollins faced Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship in an epic clash befitting of the title’s legacy, and at the level you’d expect for the talent involved.
Riddle provided a distraction leaving Seth open to a huge Spear, with the All Mighty retaining the gold while no one looked weak coming out of this.
Later in the night, Riddle would team up with Rey Mysterio against The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest and Finn Balor – keep reading below for more on that situation – and this time it was Rollins’ turn to get involved.

The rivals needed to be held apart during a backstage brawl, which led to Seth shouting a challenge for Extreme Rules, and then Riddle firing back with Fight Pit, which works for us!
There’s only been a couple in history (Riddle vs. Timothy Thatcher in May 2020 being the first), so for those who don’t know, the ring is surrounded by a steel cage instead of ropes and turnbuckles, with a catwalk around the top, and the only ways to win are submission or flooring your opponent for a 10-count.
Damage CTRL lays out Bianca Belair, Dexter Lumis cuts through the ring, White Rabbit QR code and more
Bayley came out with Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai to celebrate their Women’s Tag Team Title victory, complete with a custom golf cart, streamers and pyro.
They were interrupted by Bianca Belair, Asuka and Alexa Bliss, which led to a back and forth until Bliss challenged Bayley for a match in the main event.
This was a competitive bout and one that continued to rebuild Bayley’s momentum, albeit with some help on a very interference-heavy show – but it all fit the stories being told.

Earlier in the night, Austin Theory attacked Kevin Owens before the bell even rang on their match, but it didn’t help as KO quickly took control, and the two stars found themselves in a cracking clash.
Johnny Gargano stopped his former protege Theory from using his Money In The Bank briefcase as a weapon, which led to Owens hitting the Pop-Up Powerbomb for the win.
After the match, Gargano dropped the case on Theory’s crotch.

SmackDown’s Ridge Holland and Butch came out to hype up their tag team title match on Friday night, but they were interrupted by the Street Profits in a fun back and forth promo leading to an impromptu match.
All four men delivered here and this was a tonne of fun, while the Brawling Brutes were the right choice to win with their clash with The Usos just days away.
We need to talk about the White Rabbit QR code, which featured during the show and leads to a website saying ‘Feed Your Head’ and hosting a sinister game of Hangman asking ‘ Who Killed The World?’
What does it all mean? (Picture: WWE/Metrograb)
The rabbit guessed the letters for DEMON first, before finding out the answer was ‘You Did’, prompting the message: ‘Come with me’, and 9:23 – the date of Friday’s SmackDown.
The Judgment Day is proud of Dominik Mysterio for standing up to his dad Rey, and they try to get a family photo before Riddle and Rey interrupt to get the tag match underway.
There was plenty of interference here with Rhea and Dom getting involved, while Rollins’ distracted and Rey refusing to hit Dom with a chair led to Balor getting the win for his team.
The Miz and Tommaso Ciampa hosted Miz TV this week recapping the Dexter Lumis drama and inviting him out, but he instead cut his way through the ring and tried to pull the A-Lister down until Ciampa made the save.
WWE Raw airs Monday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
