Lorraine Kelly really wasn’t here for the ongoing speculation over whether Harry Styles spat at Chris Pine during the Don’t Worry Darling premiere.
Fans and fellow celebrities were completely obsessed with the behind the scenes drama that surrounded Olivia Wilde’s psychological thriller, starring Florence Pugh and Gemma Chan.
However, several people spent hours and days dissecting the footage to try and determine whether the former One Direction star really did drop a bomb in Chris’ lap.
The clip in question saw Harry, 28, returning to his seat at the screening, dipping his head slightly and causing Chris, 42, who was sat next to him, to react in a confused manner.
After Harry’s girlfriend Olivia confirmed to US talk show host Stephen Colbert that the musician did not spit at the Star Trek actor, Lorraine kept her response to the ordeal short and sweet during Thursday’s edition of her titular show.

‘Very very silly.
Nuff said!
The As It Was megastar recently laughed off the uhh, interesting, claims while touring in New York.
‘This is our 10th show at Madison Square Garden, it is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful to be back in New York,’ he said.
‘I just popped very quickly to Venice to spit on Chris Pine but fear not, we’re back.’

Chris is yet to address the controversy directly but his spokesperson immediately rushed to silence the rumours, saying in a statement at the time: ‘This is a ridiculous story — a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation.

‘Just to be clear, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine.
‘There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist.’
