Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are off on an adventure in sunny South Africa, loving life after finally confirming the ‘worst kept secret in television’ that I’m A Celebrity All Stars is coming next year.

Earlier this, the duo shared a video online revealing that next year, the star-studded spin-off of the ITV show would be coming with famous contestants from the past 20 years of the show.

They told their fans: ‘That’s right, we’re filming a very special version of I’m A Celebrity in South Africa which is coming to your tellies in 2023.’

The pair have now given their Twitter followers a closer glimpse of what they’re up to while working abroad in the country, casually hanging out with giraffes, zebras and hippos in the wild.

Sharing a selection of photos on social media, one of the images showed Ant, 46, and Dec, 46, grinning from ear to ear while taking a selfie with a group of giraffes in the background, both wearing white shirts while Dec balanced some sunglasses on his head.

In another picture, they both donned their shades as Ant pointed in the direction of some zebras, who were accompanied by a hippo while standing by the water.

Fans will be wondering if the cast of I’m A Celeb All Stars will have close encounters with the wildlife (Picture: Twitter/@antanddec)

One shot showed the lifelong friends posing in their open-top vehicle, while being driven around by a man who’s presumably their guide.

The last photo showed two hippos whose heads were seen just above the water, who they dubbed ‘Hippo Ant’ and ‘Hippo Dec’.

‘Our week in wildlife… featuring one zebra crossing 🦓 (sorry 😂), two baby giraffes 🥹 and some hungry hippos!’ they wrote in the caption.

Several of their fans admitted how ‘envious’ they were of Ant and Dec’s trip, with one remarking: ‘Looks like you boys are having a great time in South Africa.’

Someone else joked that the ‘Bushtucker trials have got extreme this year’.

Who’s rumoured to join the I’m A Celebrity All Stars line-up in 2023?

Gillian McKeith is rumoured to be joining, over a decade after she fainted live-on air after being tasked with a gruelling challenge.

Meanwhile former Royal aide Paul Burrell, who appeared on the hit ITV programme in 2004, is among those reported to be involved.

He joins Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan, who is said to be in advanced talks to appear.

Dissolving some rumours, Peter Andre has ruled himself out, saying he wouldn’t go back into the jungle, while Kerry Katona – who won in 2004 – has also declined.

Other stars rumoured as being eyed up by bosses for a return include Stacey Solomon and Lady Colin Campbell.

Fans would also love to see Alison Hammond or Katie Price return for the bushtucker trials, although no celebs have been confirmed yet for the line-up.

With I’m A Celeb All Stars officially underway – with another season of the standard series also set to air this year in Australia – there are rumours about who will returning for another go at becoming King or Queen of the jungle.

While stars such as Peter Andre and Kerry Katona have ruled themselves out, it’s been speculated that celebrities including Gillian McKeith, Helen Flanagan, Paul Burrell and Stacey Solomon could be back.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns to ITV later this year.
