Strictly Come Dancing’s Matt Goss and his professional dance partner Nadiya Bychkova delighted It Takes Two viewers after accidentally co-ordinating their outfits.

The sister show returned to BBC Two on Monday night following the first of the live performances over the weekend, with presenter Rylan Clark resuming his position as presenter.

Bros singer Matt was among the celebrities to drop by for a chat and opted for his classic white t-shirt and leather jacket combination, with his partner Nadiya also sitting by his side in the exact same ensemble.

And of course, their similar attire didn’t escape the attention of host Rylan, who quizzed them on it straight off the bat.

‘First things first, can we just appreciate the outfits?’ Rylan began. ‘I’m loving the matchy matchy. Was this planned or was it just a happy accident?’

‘It was just a happy accident,’ Matt smiled.

‘I’m part of the band!’ Nadiya added, with Matt interjecting: ‘She’s learning guitar.’

Like Rylan, viewers were loving their look too and rushed to comment on social media.

‘Nadiya dressing as a Matt clone has made my EVENING,’ wrote one, while another penned: ‘Matt and Nadiya in matching outfits is everything.’

The couple made their Strictly debut on Saturday and danced the quickstep to Sir Duke by the Chris Walden Big Band for their first routine.

Suited and booted in a tuxedo and ballgown, they bounced around the dancefloor, securing them a score of 20 from judges Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke.

Head judge Shirley said the performance had ‘potential’, but suggested they go back to the drawing board and work on Matt’s technique.

Craig, however, disagreed and said he thought the other judges were all being ‘very nasty’, adding: ‘I liked that, it was punchy’.

This week, Matt and Nadiya will be dancing the Samba to the Bee Gee’s Night Fever.

‘I like a tight suit but I can go proper tight in this,’ Matt said, teasing his next outfit. ‘Less is less on Strictly. I just want them to spray the suit on me.’

Strictly: It Takes Two airs weekdays at 6.30pm on BBC Two.
