As Genshin Impact version 3.1 rolls out, the Teyvat Times newsletter returns to share some rather interesting facts about players.

The Teyvat Times newsletter is back with a special edition, as fans bid farewell to Genshin Impact’s version 3.0.

From catching an insane number of fish to the richest traveler in the game, this edition of Teyvat Times has revealed some fun stats to keep you occupied while you wait for the update to fully download.

The first issue of the newsletter was released back in 2020 and was discontinued only a year after – before eventually returning in March 2022, titled Teyvat Times Returns With a Bang.

The new special edition mostly focuses on uncovering interesting facts about players and various records you’ve made throughout your Genshin journey.

The Master of Various Trades category reveals that one traveler caught a total of 34,059 fish in the past year, with his favourite fishing spot being Serpent’s Heart. Let’s hope overfishing doesn’t become an issue in Teyvat from now on.

Another player managed to become the richest traveler in the game, earning a total of 614,680,333 Mora coins (conversion to British pounds still pending, but it’s probably not good).

One traveler was even crowned King Of The Kitchen for having cooked a total of 177,256 dishes and mastering Teyvat’s cuisine.

Teyvat Times: Special Review Edition

Time flies so fast, Traveler! Paimon has been with you for a while already~ You have surely made lots of new memories in Teyvat during the past year. Let’s check them out together!#GenshinImpact pic.twitter.com/rQEkcX1PkO

Speaking of cooking, the most popular food in Teyvat was Sweet Madame, a honey-roasted fowl that can restore up to 24% of your max HP.

You’ll definitely need those health points when fighting against Azhdaha, as it was that boss that beat the most travelers in the past year. Though you can probably win against Cryo Regisvine on an empty stomach, as this iceflower was the most defeated boss.

If you’ve just started playing Genshin and you’re in need of some mentoring, one player helped almost 10 thousand travelers in total, which amounts to as many as 185 travelers in a single day.

Besides having Paimon by their side, over 60% of travelers also chose to equip the tiny samurai gadget Shiki Koshou when going on an adventure – kind of like a good luck charm.

These facts should keep you entertained while servers settle down after the version 3.1 update King Deshret and the Three Magi got released.

Once they’re up and running you’ll have a whole new area to explore in Sumeru region. Then maybe you can set some new records – or break some of the old ones – and get featured in the next issue of the Teyvat Times.
