Strictly Come Dancing professional Giovanni Pernice has put the feud rumours between him and Richie Anderson to bed.
The BBC Radio 2 presenter and the ballroom and Latin pro are currently competing in the show’s second all-male partnership, however reports have implied that the pair weren’t getting along during rehearsals.
During Wednesday’s It Takes Two with Janette Manrara, Giovanni addressed the speculation that his partner wasn’t ‘listening’ during training.
Turning to the camera, Giovanni enthused: ‘There is no problem between us.
‘We are having a good time, forget about what you’re writing. It’s not true.’
Host Janette later weighed in saying: ‘They are in love. They are in love everybody.’

Giovanni won the 2021 series alongside former Eastenders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis.
During a recent appearance on The One Show, presenter Jermaine Jenas asked Giovanni whether the pair could ‘top’ Rose’s 2021 success.
‘That moment was absolutely spectacular, it was special,’ he said.
‘It suited Rose and suited what we did. I never compare anything I do in the past with other celebrities because it would be pointless to do that.

‘Every year there are different celebrities and stories, and different dances. It’s a completely different thing, you can’t really compare it.’
Richie and Giovanni wowed the judges with their cha cha cha to I’m Your Man by Wham! and scored 23 out of 40.
BBC Radio 2 presenter Richie, 34, recently admitted that John Whaite and Johannes Radebe’s partnership – the first all-male couple in Strictly’s history – gave him the confidence to also compete with a male professional dancer.

Thinking back on past moments which stood out for him from the show, Richie revealed: ‘Well, I have to mention my good friend Zoe Ball. Her Waltz in week one was so beautiful, elegant and floaty.
‘I also have to mention John and Johannes’ leaps. On a serious note, watching John and Johannes last year gave me the confidence to be in an all-male partnership this year.’
It Takes Two returns tomorrow at 6:30pm on BBC Two.
