Lil Nas X has urged his fans to stop doing drugs at his shows in a way that only he would.
The American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia is currently touring his debut album Montero, released in September last year.
It’s no surprise the star is pulling massive crowds, after he shot to fame following the release of his 2019 single Old Town Road, with its remix featuring Billy Ray Cyrus becoming the longest running number one single in Billboard Hot 100 history.
He’s been delighting fans with performances across the States throughout September, however, it seems some fans have a unique way of getting into the spirit of things at his shows.
The Call Me By Your Name hitmaker, 23, took to social media to ask fans not to do ‘poppers’ at his concerts – although his humorous tone left his followers in stitches, rather than conveying a serious message.
Oh, for clarification, ‘popper’ is a slang term given broadly to a type of inhalant that contain amyl nitrite and butyl nitrite.

His 7.9million followers started immediately cracking up at his choice of words, with one replying: ‘The way he just wanted to tweet this is just so funny to me’.
‘This is one of the craziest string of words ive read on this app’, wrote another.
A third laughed: ‘The way I just cackled alone in my house’.
Others branded the singer a ‘legend,’ an ‘icon,’ and even a ‘national treasure’ for his hilarious choice of words.

Lil Nas will hit Europe and the UK with his Long Live Montero Tour later this year, including one show at the Eventim Apollo in London on November 12.
It’s safe to say 2022 has been a sparkling year for the musician, as he recently stole the show at the MTV VMAs.
Released July last year, Industry Baby quickly became a hit as the third single from Lil Nas’ debut album, and the Kanye West-produced track went on to win three gongs at the ceremony.
