Try Guys ‘taking week off to formulate thoughts’ after Ned Fulmer admits to cheating on wife with colleague-Rachael O'Connor-Entertainment – Metro

The Try Guys have confirmed they are taking time off amid a scandal which saw member Ned Fulmer admit to cheating on his wife.
Ned, who had been part of the group since it was formed at Buzzfeed in 2014, admitted cheating on his wife Ariel in a statement this week, apologising and saying he ‘lost focus.’
Popular YouTubers The Try Guys now consists of Zach Kornfeld, Eugene Lee Yang and Keith Habersberger after former member Ned stepped down.
The content creators had confirmed Ned had been dropped following an ‘internal review,’ with the former member also apologising in his own statement.
He shares two young children with his wife, sons Wesley, born in 2018, and Finley, born in 2020.
As well as dropping Ned from the team, The Try Guys have confirmed they themselves will be taking short break to ‘formulate [their] thoughts.’

Taking to Twitter amid a whirlwind of backlash and controversy from fans, the official Try Guys account wrote: ‘The TryPod will be taking a week off, and returning next week on Oct 6.
‘We wanted to take some time to formulate our thoughts before recording the episode.’
They went on to thank their fan for ‘being patient.’

The new development comes day after the group confirmed that Ned was no longer working with them, writing: ‘As a result of a thorough internal review, we do not see a path forward together.
‘We thank you for your support as we navigate this change.’
Ned himself had confirmed his infidelity with a colleague, and apologised in his own statement, saying his family ‘should have always been my priority, but I lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship.’

He added: ‘I’m sorry for any pain that my actions may have caused to the guys and the fans, but most of all to Ariel.’
‘The only thing that matters right now is my marriage and my children, and that’s where I am going to focus my attention.’
His wife Ariel appears to have removed the word ‘wife’ from her Instagram bio, and has issued her own statement.

She said: ‘Thanks to everyone who has reached out to me – it means a lot.
‘Nothing is more important to me and Ned than our family, and all we request right now is that you respect our privacy for the sake of our kids.’
