Adele has arrived in Las Vegas months after cancelling her planned residency shows.

The Easy On Me singer, 32, thrilled fans last year when she returned with a bang after six months after the spotlight.

Releasing a new album and garnering yet another number one hit in the process, the Londoner appeared to be on top of the world with a 24-show residency planned for Sin City where fans would get to hear the new album live in all its glory.

However the Chasing Pavements star ended up cancelling the shows just 24 hours before the first one was due to start, tearfully telling fans at the time it simply was not ready.

Now the Vegas residency is due to finally take place in November, almost a year later, having originally been planned for January this year.

As reported by the Mirror, Adele was seen boarding a private jet to Las Vegas on Thursday, believed to be putting the finishing touches to the shows, having announced the new dates in July.

The outlet added that the mum-of-one was believed to be heading straight to a private viewing of the stage at The Colosseum in Caesar’s Palace.

Over the summer the Grammy-winning musician confirmed the new dates, saying she was ‘ecstatic’ to ‘finally announce these rescheduled shows.’

‘I truly was heartbroken to have to cancel them,’ she said, adding she is aware that some people thought ‘it was a horrible decision on my part, and I will always be sorry for that, but I promise you it was the right one.’

Adele recently referred to the cancellation as the ‘worst moment of my career by far,’ admitting it was ‘devastating.’

Speaking to Elle UK, she said there appeared to be something inherently wrong about the show, explaining: ‘

‘There was just no soul in it. The stage setup wasn’t right. It was very disconnected from me and my band, and it lacked intimacy.

‘And maybe I tried too hard to give it those things in such a controlled environment’, she said.

Adele added that she felt ‘embarrassed’ after axing the shows, but the decision ultimately made her confidence grow.
