Julia Fox has opened up on what it’s like for her living with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

The 32-year-old star previously dated rapper Kanye West following his divorce from Kim Kardashian, and has now established a fanbase in her own right, thanks to, not just her acting, but the endless memes she’s provided us with.

But, the Uncut Gems actress has now opened up about something more serious, sharing that her days can be ‘very tough’ with ADHD.

Julia, who is a mother to son Valentino, spoke out about struggling with productivity issues as a result of the neurological disorder, which causes a lack of control over impulsive decisions.

‘It’s been very difficult. I have bouts of, like, great productivity, where I’m, like, on top of the world, and just feeling like I am invincible,’ she began in a TikTok video.

‘And then I have moments of, like, deep, deep, deep, stagnant type of feeling. Like I just can’t f*****g move. And I’ve never really talked about it but my ADHD is really tough.’

The Milan-born star then went on to add that as well as ADHD, she also battles obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

This left her needing to count the number of letters in a word, and she aids her troubles by smoking weed.

‘I have a little bit of OCD as well, which I just realised was OCD because I always used to count the number of letters inside a word in my head and I’d always want them to reach to 10 and if I’m not smoking weed, I’m literally counting,’ she added.

‘So, the weed quiets down the OCD but it does not help with the productivity issue or my ADHD. Oh, it’s just too much!’

Fans flocked to the comments to praise ‘relatable’ Julia for sharing her diagnoses, with one saying it helps them feel ‘more understood.’

‘As someone who has adhd and ocd, i don’t think you know how comforting this is to hear,’ one fan commented.

‘I had no idea you were Neurodivergent!!! Going thru this whole realisation right now, building community and groups… you are an inspiration,’ another wrote.

Elsewhere, Julia – who shares her 20-month-old with ex-husband Peter Artemiev – also spoke about her belief that mothers should be careful not to neglect themselves and their own wellbeing amid their determination to become the best parent possible.

She said: ‘I always resented the fact that when women have children, they suddenly become that child’s mom. You need to choose you sometimes.’

Julia has been hitting the headlines since she split from rapper Kanye earlier this year, attending various fashion shows and red carpet events.

The model is also busy working on her first book which she has already declared a ‘masterpiece,’ and has zero time for people trying to criticise her way of life.

‘I’m having fun and that’s all that matters,’ she said previously.

‘I’m young, I was coming out of the pandemic, coming out of being a single mom.

‘And I just want to have some fun, and, like, rejoin society, and pop out, have a moment,’ she told Vanity Fair.

She added: ‘Have a few moments!’
