‘Twas an emotional night for Fleur East on Strictly Come Dancing, as she struggled to keep it together after performing her waltz.
The former X Factor star gave the routine her all with pro partner Vito Coppola, dancing a Viennese waltz to Glimpse Of Us by Joji.
Their passionate, slow-paced routine was a stark contrast to the energetic cha cha cha they performed last week and, Fleur couldn’t help but burst into tears once the music stopped.
Alas, just like in week one, Fleur and Vito received a mixed reception from the judging panel, proceeding to earn a score of 28 points.
Of the performance, head judge Shirley Ballas said: ‘There’s too many foot faults for me. It never really got enough flow for me.’
But, she did have praise too: ‘I love the contemporary side, I love the connection both of you have, you look divine, keep working on those small details and you’ll get there in the end.’

Anton Du Beke appeared more impressed, telling the 34-year-old singer: ‘That was a beautifully refined performance, well done.’
Chatting to presenter Claudia Winkleman after her comments, who asked what made her so tearful, Fleur said it was a combination of the intense rehearsals and her early morning starts for her Hits Radio breakfast show.
‘It just all came,’ she admitted, wiping her eyes.
But, she had the full support of the studio audience, her fellow celebs, and the viewers at home, who were mesmerised by her moves.
One viewer tweeted: ‘Fleur east is literally gliding across the floor shes so graceful this is brilliant.’
‘All my votes are going to Fleur,’ said another.
‘The storytelling in @FleurEast v waltz was incredible ! Loved seeing a different side to Fleur : almost unrecognisable. One of my faves,’ a third penned.
One fan even tipped Fleur, not just as a finalist, but as a winner, tweeting: ‘If there’s any justice, Fleur is going to win this season.’

Strictly viewers were equally as unimpressed with the scores Fleur received, with the likes of head judge Shirley scoring her a six, which audiences at home claim she did ‘not deserve.’
‘I actually felt sorry for Fleur. She was very undermarked,’ one person said.
The Sax hitmaker and her Italian partner will be counting on the public coming through for them this weekend, as one couple will leave in the first elimination.
Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday and Sunday on BBC One.
