Christina Hall has slammed ex-husband Ant Anstead on social media as their custody battle rumbles on.
The former couple, who share son Hudson together, split in 2020 and have since moved on to other high-profile relationships.
Their divorce was finalized in 2021, and they were granted joint legal and physical custody of the three-year-old, but the agreement recently came into question when the Celebrity IOU: Joyride host alleged that their son was being ‘exploited’ by the HGTV star.
In paperwork submitted last week, the dad-of-three shared his fears of Hudson ‘being forced to film reality TV’ with his mom – allegations that Christina branded ‘offensive and simply untrue’.
Taking to Instagram, she has now announced that the youngster will no longer be appearing on her TV shows or on any social media posts, while also calling out her former partner for his efforts.
‘I am mentally exhausted over the recent false accusations against me,’ she began a lengthy post. ‘Hudson’s father has made attempts to turn my family, friends and fans against me.
‘This has had great impact on me and my household. Because of this, I have made the decision to no longer feature Hudson on Instagram, my tv shows or any social platforms until he is old enough to make this decision for himself.
‘I have always been fine not having Hudson appear on public platforms and have made that clear. My only reason for wanting him to appear on my shows, has always been to participate in the fun activities/outings with our family/siblings.’
‘Hudson’s father has made it clear via his public court filings he is using Instagram to rate the kind of parent I am, since that is the only access he has to my personal life,’ she continued. ‘This has been the case since July 2020.
‘This is unnecessary pressure for a platform that is supposed to be used to share moments chosen, rather than a judgement tool…especially since this is a very small fraction of my personal life as the rest is kept between me and my family.
‘My personal collection of photos on my phone and in our home are filled with memories of my children, so Hudson will be just fine without having his presence displayed on a public forum.
‘Thank you to all the people who can see beyond the nonsense being thrown at me. I am and will ALWAYS remain a protective mother.’
Ant has yet to speak out over the post, but fans rushed to support Christina in the comments section below.
One wrote: ‘We will sure miss seeing his handsome face!! But we support you!!’
Another agreed: ‘So sorry!! I know it doesn’t seem like not, but this won’t last forever! Hang in there Mama bear!’
‘Sending positive vibes! You are an amazing mom, business woman and person,’ a follower commented. ‘God bless those who are unable to handle you thriving. We support you!’
As an Instagram user added: ‘You are an awesome mom and it is evident in how happy ALL your kids are. Dogs included!!’
Ant and Christina started dating in 2017 and tied the knot in 2018, a year before they welcomed Hudson together.
