Jeffrey Dahmer’s actual urn is available to buy for $250k (£234k) following the release of the Netflix series based on his crimes.

Also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal or the Milwaukee Monster, Dahmer was an American serial killer and sex offender who murdered and 17 boys and men between 1978 and 1991.

Dahmer was convicted of 16 murders and sentenced to life in prison back in 1992, before being beaten to death by a fellow inmate in 1994.

Since the controversial series, Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, starring Evan Peters in the titular role, landed on the streaming platform, there’s been an increased interest in the killer’s life.

This is rather fortunate for the owners of Dahmer memorabilia, such as Taylor James, who runs Cult Collectibles in Vancouver, Canada.

As well as the urn, Taylor has Dahmer’s glasses in his possession, which were worn by the criminal when he was behind bars.

The criminal had a famous look due to his eyewear, but Taylor has placed a hefty price tag on it.

Taylor told TMZ that he wants the staggering $150k (£134k) in order to part with the specs, which he acquired a couple of years ago.

The glasses are not listed online, but anyone interested can reach out to Taylor directly.

What is available online, however, are a whole host of other Dahmer items – literally, everything you could think of.

Yes, not only does Taylor own his urn and the glasses worn by the serial killer, but also a load of other Dahmer memorabilia, including letters he received while in prison, school photos, income tax forms, school projects, his psychiatric evaluation, and his bible.

Oh, he also has cutlery used by him.

Taylor acquired the items after being contacted by a former housekeeper for Dahmer’s father, Lionel.

He agreed to manage and sell the collection through his website for a portion of the profit.

The harrowing Netflix series based on Dahmer’s heinous crimes has been met with much criticism, particularly from the surviving family members of the victims.

Starring American Horror Story actor Evan, the 10-part series is told through the lives of the victims who were impacted by the systemic racism and institutional failures of the police, which allowed Dahmer to continue his killing spree.

Also in the true crime drama is Niecy Nash who portrays Glenda Cleveland, Dahmer’s real-life neighbour who continuously alerted officers to his worrying behaviour but to no avail.

Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story is available to watch on Netflix.
