All Elite Wrestling star Ruby Soho has given fans an update on her health after undergoing surgery a month after suffering a broken nose.

The former WWE superstar – who performed as Ruby Riott before being released by the company in June 2021 and joined rival promotion AEW three months later – suffered a nasty injury at All Out last month, when an in-ring accident left her with a broken nose and ‘mess of a septum’.

Now, she is out of surgery and on the road to recovery, which she celebrated by sharing a photo of herself bandaged up in a hospital bed.

She captioned the snap: ‘Finally! After a month since breaking my nose at All Out. The countdown begins until I can breathe again, can’t you see my excitement?!’

Last month, Ruby had to drop out of 1PW: A New Twist of Fate in Doncaster – which took place on Saturday (October 1) and served as the UK company’s relaunch – due to the surgery.

In a video on Twitter, she explained at the time: ‘Hey 1PW fans, it is yours truly, Ruby Soho, here with some disappointing news.

Due to the injury that I received at All Out – a broken nose in two places and a mess of a septum – I have to have surgery.

‘Due to the scheduling of that surgery and the recovery time, I won’t be able to make it to the show on October 1st. I’m really, really sorry that I’m not gonna be there.’

Soho – who was replaced by fellow AEW star Jamie Hayter on the show – told the fans how excited she was about coming to the UK, and promised to make it over once she is fit and healthy.

She continued: ‘Honestly, this is the only thing that wold keep me from coming back to England. I was very, very much looking forward to that show and very much looking forward to meeting all of you and seeing all of you again. So, for that I do truly apologise.

‘But, I know that the show’s gonna be incredible, it’s still a stacked card and I’m hoping that in the near future, hopefully the show in February, I will be back, I will be better than ever, and I will finally make my debut for 1PW. I apologise again, you guys, and I hope to see you again very soon.’
