They addressed Fulmer’s recent departure from the group.
The Try Guys have confirmed that ex-member Ned Fulmer will be edited out of future videos after he admitted to cheating on his wife Ariel with an employee.
The YouTube group – now made up of Zach Kornfeld, Keith Habersberger, and Eugene Lee Yang – recently announced that it would not ‘move forward’ with Fulmer following an internal review, with fans speculating that he was cut out of a recent video.
The trio have now returned to YouTube, addressing Fulmer’s departure.
Kornfeld began: ‘Ned Fulmer is no longer working with The Try Guys.
‘By now, we’re assuming you’ve seen the Reddit threads, and TikToks, and tweets, and news articles. We want to give you a timeline of what’s transpired and some transparency into our decision making.’
He added: ‘Throughout this video, there will be things that we want to say or go into further, but as I’m sure you’re aware, there are some legal issues we have to consider as we go through everything.’

Habersberger said that, around July 4, fans had told them they’d seen Fulmer and an employee ‘engaging in public romantic behaviour’ and that, when confronted, Fulmer confirmed these reports.
He added that it was ‘very shocking’ to hear, and said: ‘We just want you to know that we had no idea this was going on. All of that information was just as shocking to us as all of this has been for you this week.’
Yang said that a three-week process began, involving lawyers, publicists, and human resources experts.
‘From the jump, we were acutely aware of just how contrary this was to the values of the company we’ve built and those of everyone who works here. This is something we took very seriously. We refused to sweep things under the rug. That is not who we are and is not what we stand for.’
As for the videos from the channel, Kornfeld said: ‘There are several videos that we’ve deemed as fully unreleasable. You will never see them, and that is due to his involvement.’
While he added that this has lost them some money, he insisted it’s ‘a decision we stand by proudly.’
Fulmer will be edited out of videos that were filmed before he left, but the group said he could still appear in sponsored content that they had already committed to.
Meanwhile, the trio paid tribute to their editing team, who they said dealt with the situation ‘deftly’.
Habersberger went on to say that while they couldn’t share the results of the internal review, Fulmer had ‘engaged in conduct unbecoming of our team.’
Last month, the trio signed documents to remove Fulmer as a manager and employee of their company.
Yang went on: ‘We were obviously incredibly shocked and deeply hurt by all of this. [Fulmer] is someone who we’d built a brand and a company with for eight years. We feel saddened, not just personally, but on behalf of our staff and our fans who believed in us.’
Kornfeld said: ‘I don’t know that we’ll ever be able to fully articulate the pain we feel at this moment. It’s hard to rewatch old videos that we love and are proud of. We’re losing a friend, we’re losing someone we we built a company with, we have countless memories with. We just made a TV show together. I’m sure many of you feel the same way. It’s weird. We’re sorry that this ever happened and we don’t know what more to say.’
The Try Guys announced Fulmer’s departure in a statement saying: ‘Ned Fulmer is no longer working with The Try Guys. As a result of a thorough internal review, we do not see a path forward together.
‘We thank you for your support as we navigate this change.’
Fulmer shared his own statement shortly afterwards, saying: ‘Family should have always been my priority, but I lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship.
‘I’m sorry for any pain that my actions may have caused to the guys and the fans, but most of all to Ariel.’
He continued: ‘The only thing that matters right now is my marriage and my children, and that’s where I am going to focus my attention.’
Ariel said in her statement: ‘Thanks to everyone who has reached out to me – it means a lot.
‘Nothing is more important to me and Ned than our family, and all we request right now is that you respect our privacy for the sake of our kids.’
Ned had been part of the group since it was formed at Buzzfeed in 2014.
He shares two sons with his wife Ariel: Wesley, born in 2018, and Finley, born in 2020.
