A horror legend is coming to London town with Tobin Bell reprising his role as Jigsaw when Saw: The Experience opens in the city later this month.

Tobin, 80, famously played John Kramer aka the infamous master of games, Jigsaw, in eight of the franchise’s movies, including the iconic first instalment starring Cary Elwes, Danny Glover and Leigh Whannell.

With the horror favourite back on-board the terrifying and unpredictable Saw train, The Experience is elevated to new heights of fear, authenticity and immersion as Jigsaw’s nightmare legacy ensnares a new generation of players to make the choices that will earn their redemption.

The escape room will open in London’s Tower Hill on October 27, just in time for Halloween.

It will feature an area called The Trap Room which, frankly, doesn’t sound so relaxing, but will actually offer a chance for respite for those who manage to survive Jigsaw’s trials.

A themed bar based on Jigsaw’s workshop, it will feature a collection of some of his most fearsome traps throughout the Saw franchise, for those all-important photo opportunities. Players will be able to unwind from the horrors they have endured with a selection of drinks that have been created for Saw: The Experience.

Fans will be greeted by very familiar faces from the Saw movies, including the infamous Pig Mask which features in the new trailer.

A previous teaser for the immersive experience opened with the creepy Jigsaw doll cycling down a grim and dimly-lit hall wearing ruby red shoes, a black coat and matching bowtie. With eyes flashing bright red, Jigsaw then appeared on the billboard screen in Piccadilly Circus as the world went on by, business as usual.

‘Hello London, I want to play a game,’ Jigsaw said before the scene cut to clips from his test rooms, including a grotty bathroom, pigs lined up for slaughter and a cremation chamber.

The Saw movies have amounted to one of the most successful horror franchises in Hollywood having grossed over $1billion at the global box office.

It was recently announced that a 10th Saw movie is on its way and will be released on October 27, 2023 – again, just in time for spooky season.

SAW: The Experience will be located at 1 America Square, London, EC3N 2LS, just a few minutes’ walk from Tower Hill station. Brave thrill-seekers can now book tickets from Halloween through to 2023 from £39pp by visiting: sawtheexperience.com.
